Dunkin' Donuts

A student arrived for her lesson this morning, violin in hand. Her mother followed her inside, iced coffee in hand... and handed it to me! Isn't that thoughtful?

(It was a good lesson.)

  1. That IS nice. Sometimes when my friends and I swap babysitting (we can't afford to pay each other!) we'll return bearing gifts of that sort. It is always a nice surprise. :)

At TLC, I occasionally had a mom bring me a drink, a sandwich, or some other small "yummy". They never asked first; it was always a surprise. It made me feel valued and appreciated. I'm glad this mom was so thoughtful to my favorite violin teacher :-)
