A student arrived for her lesson this morning, violin in hand. Her mother followed her inside, iced coffee in hand... and handed it to me! Isn't that thoughtful?
That IS nice. Sometimes when my friends and I swap babysitting (we can't afford to pay each other!) we'll return bearing gifts of that sort. It is always a nice surprise. :)
At TLC, I occasionally had a mom bring me a drink, a sandwich, or some other small "yummy". They never asked first; it was always a surprise. It made me feel valued and appreciated. I'm glad this mom was so thoughtful to my favorite violin teacher :-)
