As the week draws to a close, it's time for another 'it's the little things' post.
{Starting next Friday, it's going to be a link-up, so check back and participate!}
one
Church last Sunday for Michaelmas. Great sermon by the Bishop, and lots of my favorite hymns, and seeing kind and friendly people. A very good Sunday.
two
Baby's first time wearing tights! Cuteness overload!
three
Pulling my yellow corduroy flats out of the closet for fall.
four
Good meals, like my favorite spaghetti sauce recipe: tomato sauce with onion and butter. I love the simplicity of this recipe and the pure tomato-y ness of it, unmasked by Italian seasoning or other add-ins.
And making vegetable soup with dumplings with a good friend, and then sitting down to enjoy the meal together.
And a good dinner (and good wine) with friends, followed by oatmeal spice cake.
five
Welcoming a friend's new baby into the world with clothes for the little mister and cookies for the new mum and dad.
{Of course, a new baby is not really a little thing, but a rather big event, actually!}
