I'm a 28-year-old violinist currently getting a master's degree in violin performance while I teach 30 or so private students, conduct a youth orchestra, and freelance. I'm married to an organist who can always make me laugh.
I have a marginally disturbing obsession with yodeling. I like crafts, avocados, coupons, tart frozen yogurt, and books. I hate Calvinism. I love being a vegetarian. I have a love-hate relationship with running. I grew up in Northern California but have been transplanted to Boston's North Shore where I live in an old house that needs lots of fixing up.
I have great goals for my life, like my hope of spontaneously losing ten pounds and becoming rich enough to afford a pair of For All Mankind jeans that I would suddenly look fantastic in.
Also, I want to be like Jesus, minus the facial hair.
I proudly blog so that no thought of mine, however unimportant or irrelevant, should ever go unpublished.
It's at least true of work relationships! Some of the best work friendships I forged were at places where everyone was miserable. And, perhaps related, those friends are also really nice people.
