Somewhere in Seattle a cop is feeling pretty dumb.
"It became clear to those watching that the policeman had no idea who Ramirez was. He didn't ask for an autograph or anything, but did ask Ramirez if he'd attended the game. After the brief lecture, and no argument from Ramirez, the police officer let him go with no further trouble."
What a great story! Seattle police are famous for ticketing jaywalkers. I don't know if they're famous for not recognizing baseball stars :). By the way - Eric and Austin were at the game that night.
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting that Seattle police really crack down on jaywalking. I bet Manny didn't even think twice about jaywalking, because in Boston there are crosswalks and signals, but no one seems to even know what they're for! Everyone jaywalks all the time.
ReplyDeleteJaywalking? That's it? Here in Indianapolis, our (I use that word loosely) Pacers basketball players go around shooting guns strip clubs and beating up people in the stands. heheh
